Our Care
The home has the capacity to cater for 28 individuals within single occupancy bedrooms. Long-term care is provided for individuals of either sex over the age of 65 with low to moderate physical and mental health needs following a careful assessment of needs prior to admission.
The home provides a 24 hour facility and members of staff work on a rota basis. The staff are entrusted with the responsibility of satisfying all service user needs by providing them with the best possible care within a comfortable environment.
Glyn Nest operates a key worker scheme where a member of staff will be allocated to each service user adding a personal element to their care.
We will take into account reasonable demands by a service user relating to their choice of gender of care worker and suitable records will be maintained of such requests in the care plan.
The responsible individual from the management committee oversees the running of the home on a regular basis.
